La Posadita

The breakfasts had everything I wanted, from meats, cheeses, bread and fruit to eggs. The staff were lovely, and the owner even drove me in his cool electric car to a restaurant in central Jose Ignacio when I realized I’d left my credit card there. The owner and the main person at the desk both speak fluent English. The rooms are comfortable, the AC is nice, and it’s quiet outside, with chairs by the pool. You can borrow bikes to ride into town, and it feels safe enough that nobody locks them. It’s easy to walk or cycle to the heart of Jose Ignacio, a nice beach, La Juanita across the street, and a couple of delicious restaurants just a few blocks away. Really, all you could want from a hotel.
