The team made us feel at home. Jeronimo and Nancy shared places to eat and drink, called cabs for us, and were happy to chat about the neighborhood. We really enjoyed our time at Fauna and would book again. The building is a treat, with its Art Deco character, and the lounge has carefully chosen mid-century furniture and art books. Our room was compact but comfortable, especially the bed. The modern bathroom was clean and the shower water was properly hot. There was a kettle and tea, a hairdryer, and free wifi. Breakfast isn't served at the hotel, but there are several nice coffee shops right outside, and guests can help themselves to a very nice fruit bowl.

Jeronimo's hospitality made this little Old Town boutique hotel even more memorable. The rooms and hotel are beautifully decorated. I'd happily recommend it.

We were welcomed as soon as we stepped into the lovely lobby. Jeronimo was working when we arrived and was very accommodating throughout our stay, with plenty of good suggestions for nearby places. Our room was just as nicely decorated as the lobby, and my husband especially liked the little atrium inside it. The hotel's also close to several good cafes and restaurants. We'd stay here again if we return to Montevideo. FAUNA is a gorgeous Art Deco style hotel.

Being right in the Old Town made it easy to walk to historic sights, cafes, bars, and restaurants. We had a delightful two-night stay at Fauna Montevideo and would recommend it to anyone visiting the city. The decor is gorgeous, mixing a modern feel with thoughtful, distinctive details. Even the subtle fragrance around the hotel adds to the welcoming atmosphere. Our room was comfortable and had what we needed to relax. Breakfast isn't provided, but there was fresh fruit for guests in the lobby. Jeronimo gave us a warm welcome and suggested cafes, bars, restaurants, and things to see and do. His recommendations made our time in Montevideo even more enjoyable.

Even with a last-minute booking, the Fauna staff were quick to respond and made us feel welcome right away. They'd also turned on the heat before we checked in, which was lovely on a cold Uruguayan winter night. Staying here is always a joy, and I'll certainly come back. Thanks, Jeronimo and Soledad, for making the hotel feel so special :)
