I couldn’t even stay the full hour. The bathroom was unpleasant, with hair of dubious origin all over the fixtures and a mix of bad smells. Hygiene wasn’t a strong point here. I appreciate it, but once was enough for me.

They charge 1800 pesos for a room with a shared bathroom and don’t even provide a fan. I keep getting a street-facing room, where it’s impossible to sleep without waking up constantly. Honestly, it’s disgusting, and they’ve lost me as a guest.

The location is hard to beat, right by the main avenue and close to the old town, so you can explore much of the area on foot. The staff are friendly, and it’s good value for money. The hotel is old, and the rooms show it. I’d recommend it if you’re just passing through and need somewhere to sleep, but not if you want to relax or stay for a long time. It’s also quite noisy because it’s directly on the main avenue, so anyone who has trouble sleeping with noise won’t enjoy it.
