The shared rooms are mixed, which was the main downside for me. The hostel itself is really comfortable, with a big kitchen where two people can cook at once without a problem. Bedding is provided clean, towels and bikes are available to rent, and the bathrooms are large with good showers. The staff are very friendly, and some are Brazilian. Breakfast is good and includes black coffee, which matters so much to us Brazilians, haha. The location is excellent: markets, currency exchange, and a pharmacy are all on the block, and Pocitos beach is two blocks away. There's a locker for your things if you bring a padlock. They accept Brazilian reais, but it's better value to exchange money at the place across the street.
