The location is the one good thing here. The musty smell was awful, the bathroom leaked, and the old refrigerator was rotten and didn’t even keep things cold. The pool was filthy green, unlike anything I’d seen. Breakfast was undrinkable watered-down smoothies and a piece of fruit with what seemed like 10 liters of water. The “room” we got was disastrous, and I won’t get into the details. The cleaning staff were lovely and attentive, though there wasn’t much they could do. If you’re considering this hotel, don’t!

We checked out Sunday morning, and they kept our things for us all day, which was such a nice gesture and let us relax. The common areas were lovely and stayed clean, the staff were super friendly, and breakfast was delicious. I’d happily stay there again. I’d read a lot of bad reviews after booking and was pretty nervous, but my own experience was really good. People often post when something bothers them, not always when they’re happy, so don’t let the negative reviews alone put you off. And if you’re worrying like I was, the bedding DOES NOT smell like cat pee 😂

The location is really good, and the air conditioning, TV, and mini-fridge all worked well. The hot water was there more or less, but it was hard to get it flowing and set the temperature. This is an old, run-down hotel with no elevator, though some rooms are downstairs. The locks aren’t new, but they do lock. The walls are paper-thin, so you hear everything, including a squeaky door or the bathroom next door. The room I had, for two people in separate beds, was small. Linen, cutlery, and the pool were only so-so for cleanliness. Staff were friendly and let us leave our bags after checkout. Breakfast was okay, nothing special, but not bad. If you’re looking for a comfortable place to relax and want quality, this isn’t it. If you’re passing through, have plenty of energy, like the beach, and just need somewhere to sleep during the day, it’s fine.

We paid $13,000 for three nights, and this was one of the worst places we’ve ever stayed. The location is the only thing it has going for it. The published photos are misleading, and the hotel is falling apart. Pool deck boards were loose and broken enough to cause an injury, the edges were raised, and the water looked dirty and neglected. Our room was in terrible shape: split and broken tiles, a toilet covered in limescale, and an uncomfortable bathroom. You have to bend to wash your hands, and the shower is so narrow you can barely move. The barbecue area, with only two grills, was also deplorable, with broken tables and very hard wooden chairs that were falling apart. Breakfast was low quality and mostly flour-based, with weak coffee. The four-slice toaster only had two working slots. There was no usable Wi-Fi, despite being given a password, since the signal didn’t even reach the first floor. That’s false advertising. We don’t recommend it at all and would never return.
