Hotel Registon Zargaron

The hosts made this short stay feel like visiting relatives in Uzbekistan. It felt so much like home that I’d like to call this place my home. It’s right next to Registon Square, and the small, warm, hospitable family, including Islam, made the stay special. The younger child was especially welcoming. Breakfast was fantastic: eggs, fresh seasonal fruit, cheeses, meats, tea, bread, snacks, and more. Easily the best stay of my Uzbekistan trip. 10/10, recommended to anyone visiting Samarkand.

The location was perfect, so close to the centre, and we really enjoyed our three days here. It’s a family house, and our room was great, very clean, and exceptionally fresh even in summer. There’s AC if you’re still feeling hot. Breakfast was amazing, with different food each day, all tasty and healthy. We hope to come back soon.

The family running this guesthouse were so kind, helpful, and responsive. We had a booking problem, and the host immediately helped sort it out, then answered our requests right away. Breakfast each morning was super delicious, too. The place is spotless and cozy, and a few minutes’ walk gets you to the central sights, restaurants, and market. It’s easy to get around and easy to reach by taxi or car. Great value for money. This is definitely the best place to stay in Samarkand, and we’ll be back.

The room got too warm during summer, as the cooling seemed inadequate. Everything else was great. The host was lovable and took care of everything, and breakfast arrived on time with a nice variety. The hotel is right beside Registan Square, with most landmarks nearby. Highly recommend it.
