Check-in was easy, and we were welcomed by the host’s sweet 11-year-old daughter, Sabrina, who was honestly a highlight. They also brought hot tea whenever we asked, which was a lovely touch. The 3-night stay cost USD117. The electricity problems were a big frustration. They’re renovating, but nobody told us beforehand. The power went out for about an hour one day, then for more than six hours the next. It’s hard to rest without electricity, and another guest even checked in and left after waiting hours without power. I had a lot of laundry, two full drums, and the 100,000 som charge seemed fair. They waived my late checkout fee through 5 pm to make up for the power issues. Communication could be better, though. I kept asking for a receipt and only got it after I’d already left Tashkent. The rooms are upstairs, which may be difficult for older travelers. The shower didn’t drain well either. I reported it, so hopefully they fix it. There were some kind gestures, but the renovation and power cuts made the stay far from relaxing.

We hardly had time to enjoy the place, which is a shame since Registan is only about a five-minute walk away. The guesthouse is new, very clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped, probably the best one we stayed at in Uzbekistan. The staff were lovely and made our 6:40 a.m. departure easy, even offering breakfast at 6 and a ride to the airport.

Tamara and her daughter-in-law Sabina made us feel at home during our one-night stay. They even lent us a 2-pin adapter, gave us registration slips, and let us leave our bags and use the restroom after checkout. Breakfast was fresh, tasty, and had plenty of variety. The family-run guest house is an easy walk from Registan Square. Our room suited our family well, with one bed for us and another for our child. It was clean and cozy, with heating, A/C, a dependable hot shower, and complimentary water, tea, chocolates, and fresh fruit. A comfortable and convenient choice for families.

The local neighborhood feels quiet and homey, even though the Registan ensemble is just four minutes away. Yandex can come right to the doorstep, too. We were so glad we chose this lovely family-run guesthouse. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was just right, with the family happy to work around our dietary needs. They were easy to reach by message and always attentive to our comfort. If you want a place with both a local feel and a professional approach, I’d recommend it. Thank you, Sabina, you and your family were wonderful.

The guesthouse is remarkably close to Registan Place, and I'd recommend it. The room was lovely and impeccably clean, the owners were attentive and ready to help, and breakfast was very good.
