Art Dream Hotel

I eventually gave up, asked for my things, canceled the booking, and went across the street. At that hotel I checked in within five minutes, with no hassle. Later I looked at reviews on other reviewa and saw that many people had similar bad experiences. I'm glad I didn't stay here. First impressions matter, and this reception experience fell far short. When I arrived early, I knew check-in was at 2:00 PM. I only wanted to let them know I'd be leaving my luggage, but there was nobody at the desk to help or even acknowledge us. Another traveler had already been waiting a long time and was clearly frustrated; we talked about it. A receptionist showed up a few hours later but didn't ask what we needed. I went over myself and was told to come back at 2:00 PM. At least then I could leave my bags securely. I came back from lunch around 2:30 PM, expecting to check in, but again there was no receptionist. A few minutes later another staff member told me the room was still being prepared and to wait 15 minutes. I tried to be understanding and thought they might be short-staffed. But after an hour with no real update, I asked what was taking so long and got only “wait.” It was really frustrating. This is a business, and the guest experience should matter.
