Ichan Qala Premium Class Boutique-hotel

What makes the Ichan Qala Hotel memorable is its Uzbek-style architecture and the peaceful, welcoming feel. The rooms are roomy and clean, with tasteful decor and oriental touches. Staff are attentive and professional without hovering, and breakfast brings together freshly prepared local and international options. It’s a little outside the city center, which keeps things quiet but can make getting around slightly less convenient. Still, I found it good value and a comfortable fit for either a business trip or a visit to Tashkent focused on a distinctive atmosphere.

There are both indoor and outdoor pools, so it was easy to relax here. The hotel feels spacious and authentic, right in Tashkent, and the musicians playing in the restaurant each morning made for a happy start to the day. Breakfast food could use some improvement, but I had no other complaints.

The restaurant was a real highlight, and breakfast had a great selection even for toddlers and kids. The staff were helpful throughout, and the facilities were what I expected. It’s easy to reach, with thoughtfully designed interiors that give the place a boutique-hotel feel.

Breakfast was the best part for us, with an amazing range of choices, and the hotel was well maintained. The bathroom was nice and had a separate bidet, but the rooms felt a bit small and the lack of an elevator was inconvenient. If you’re on the first floor or higher, you have to carry your bags upstairs. The staff were professional, though they didn’t seem especially enthusiastic. For a premium hotel, I found it a little underwhelming. It’s a decent option when the price is right.
