The location is a problem right now: the district is under construction, buses aren't running nearby, and the Metro is more than 1.3 kilometers away. There are better, much cleaner guest houses in that area of Tashkent for less. The hostel was in terrible shape, nothing like the pictures. Carpets were ripped throughout, water was leaking and pooling in the women's bathroom, showers weren't cleaned, the kitchen floor was filthy, and trash overflowed for my whole stay. The terrace tables were dirty and not fit for eating. Guests left trash bags on the tables and made a mess of the terrace. They ask you to remove your shoes but provide no slippers, and slippers aren't allowed in the kitchen either. The floor was so dirty that your bare feet stuck to it. The breakfast and cleaning lady was very rude and didn't do her job. The flies never went away because the trash wasn't emptied. At mealtimes, one group of guests took over the kitchen, then left it messy. The guests staying there didn't seem to practice personal hygiene. And the constant high air conditioning in bedrooms, even when it wasn't needed, contributes to blackouts in Tashkent. You don't travel to Uzbekistan just to sleep and stay in bed for 18 hours.

The place had no atmosphere at all, though the rooms were clean and the location was great.

The room was big, but there was no water in it and no proper cabinet. We booked a shared bathroom, which had no bidet, soap, or tissues by the sink, and it smelled disgusting. Breakfast was included in the room rate, but they served only bread, and we even had to wash our own dishes. Shoes aren't allowed in the hostel, but they gave us no slippers; you can't wear them in the kitchen either, and the floor there was very cold. We arrived late and asked for an extra hanger, but they didn't give us one. This was a bad experience. If you're on a tight budget and want a low-cost option, you could try it. We wanted to relax and enjoy our trip, though, so we moved to a hotel where we could be comfortable for our short vacation and get closer to what we expected.

The staff were friendly, and both the rooms and breakfast were okay. The rooms have air conditioning. One drawback is that the bathrooms are on the 2nd floor, so you may have to go to another floor to shower. They also offer little privacy, with only a curtain for cover, which wasn't pleasant.

The room was fine, and so was the staff, but the hygiene was horrible. You take your shoes off in front of the reception door, and it smells terrible. The bathroom was a disaster. Guys pee standing up, and the smell of urine was everywhere, even in the shower. 😓😓😓😓😓😓
