The staff at the front desk were so polite and helpful, which made a real difference while we were stressed. The place itself felt calm, clean, and welcoming. I got all my tests done within a couple of hours, then saw a caring, knowledgeable doctor who quickly worked out what was wrong and set out the treatment I needed. The doctors were great.
My surgery went smoothly, and the care afterward was good, though not excellent. The anesthesia was smoother than at any other place I've been. The experience was okay otherwise, but I wish the doctors would take their appointments seriously and remember to send patients feedback. It feels like our concerns aren't a priority.
The doctors seem capable and knowledgeable, but the administrative side was honestly embarrassing for a large, otherwise high-end place. At the MRT section, staff gossiped and laughed about me in Uzbek right in front of me, apparently assuming I wouldn't understand. Getting a basic appointment confirmation printout took 20 minutes and a lot of back and forth.
The gardens outside and the quiet atmosphere are a welcome break from noisy Tashkent, and I found the clinic clean, with knowledgeable doctors who speak English. Irina was especially helpful from my first visit: she speaks English and kept track of my appointment through to the end. That's why I give it four stars. The billing side needs work. Cashiers aren't consistent, and some are rude. The ones downstairs didn't seem trained on the billing system, then blamed the patient for not taking the bill upstairs. We can only pay what's on the paper in front of us. Reception and cashier staff on every floor need to know how to print the full bill before assuming someone is avoiding a charge. There are separate scheduling systems for insured and private-pay patients, which can confuse the doctor when you're both. One system would work better. The cafeteria was expensive, had no special-diet options, and didn't list prices per item. 30,000 Som for one serving of vegetables is ridiculous. I hope M-clinic keeps adding services and specialists, since Tashkent needs them.
So far, this is the medical clinic I'd recommend most.
