We were sent over from their fancier sister hotel and given two “deluxe” rooms. One was extremely small, and its bathroom smelled strongly of sewage. When we asked to change rooms, they offered us one with a window held together by duct tape, and it was very cold. Don’t stay here.

The price was very good, and I booked just one night so I could stay near the airport before an early flight. It’s a basic hotel, though, and the walls are so thin I could hear people talking or snoring in the next room.

I spent one night here while travelling. It’s a nice hotel for a good price, and it could also be a good base for visiting Chiva.

There’s no lift, which is quite common in Uzbekistan hotels with only a few floors. We booked through the website for one night before an early flight, and a note that the triple room seems to share a bathroom. At check-in we got one room upgrade, but staff told me to take the basement room even though I had made the booking. As a person of color, I found it interesting that they thought that room was more suitable for me than for my friend, who isn’t a person of color. We ended up with two double rooms. Otherwise, it’s a standard hotel.
