There’s a lot right nearby, from bars, restaurants and shops to street food, and Joy's BBQ is worth checking out on Friday and Saturday nights. The main street is a minute away, the airport is a five-minute walk, and kitesurfing is also about five minutes on foot, or you can get picked up right outside the dock. There’s a dive shop next door, a little restaurant and a nice pool. The accommodation is clean, the staff are great, and the rooms have air conditioning, though the breeze meant I didn’t need it. Clifton bay looks lovely, especially watching the ferry come and go. It’s quiet, even though you can sometimes hear music from the bars. That never bothered me.

Union island has a vibe you really have to experience, and the staff at Kings made things much easier with their local knowledge. We spent some time at sunset cove by Chatham bay, which was fantastic. It’s easy enough to get around the island. The ferry is only a short walk away, and swimming nearby wasn’t really an option, so I was glad there was a pool. We stayed Feb 26/27 and wish we could’ve stayed longer next time.

The location is handy for the ferry and the views are decent, with nice staff too. For a Tobago Cays trip, use Tiger the boat captain. He’s a great guide!

I was told they offer good rates for longer stays, and quite a few people seemed to be there monthly. Town is close, with Clifton’s few restaurants and bars, and JT PRO kitesurfing beach is about a 10-minute walk. My sea-view room looked recently renovated, and it seems they’re gradually updating all the rooms. It had a big balcony over the bay, a king bed, sink, fridge, Amazon Fire TV with Netflix, fast internet and good AC. The room was large, the staff friendly, and there’s a small pool. I paid less than 100 USD a night. The garden rooms are cheaper if you don’t need a sea view.

A fresh breeze comes right at you day and night, and the sea view is breathtaking. You can see the other islands with yachts in the foreground.
