Hotel Paradise Oasis

The rooms are small and don't offer much privacy, with the toilet and shower built into the room. Still, each has a balcony with a nice view. The hotel's architecture is simple but does the job. There's pleasant shade beneath the grapevines, and the pool is right on the beach. It's also the most "private" spot in that area, and the location is very good overall.

The beach is spectacular, and the facilities feel new. The atmosphere is pleasant too, but the restaurant and connectivity services in particular need work.

The breakfasts are good, and every balcony has a beautiful sea view. The hotel is new and everything works. My room had a refrigerator, tea and coffee facilities, a TV, and even shampoo and lotion, which is unusual in Venezuela. A couple of things could be better: the bathroom has a completely transparent glass door right across from the bed, and they aren't keen to give change at the bar. Don't send clothes to the laundry, the result is zero. Still, those are minor details.

I've visited in January for the past three years. The facilities and common areas have led me to think this is the best hotel in El Yaque, but several things need attention. The Wi-Fi never works, the staff seem apathetic, and the food doesn't match the hotel's quality. The prices are even worse, especially since this is the most expensive hotel in the area. We've also had sewage problems in the showers, and the services have gotten worse each year. On three separate occasions, personal belongings went missing in the umbrella area, and I got no response. I regret these experiences and hope you take them into account when staying there.
