Sugar Apple Bed & Breakfast

We’ll be back. Natalie was an amazing host, so kind, welcoming, and helpful, and we absolutely loved her and Marilyn(puppy). The place is quiet and relaxing, yet an easy walk from the boardwalk, with lots of shopping and food nearby, plus snorkeling and scuba guides. It’s just wonderful.

Sugar Apple is a great value, with an easy walk to the boardwalk, shops, restaurants, and the sea plane. Natalie is so sweet and accommodating, and private check-in was easy. I’ll definitely be back and would like to try a room other than unit 4. It was good, but the corner location may mean a bit more traffic noise. Thanks again, Natalie!

The old St. Croix building charm and easy walk to the Boardwalk, shops, and restaurants give this place plenty of potential. Still, I can’t recommend staying here because regular upkeep seemed lacking. The pool area and room had furniture in poor condition, and the old towels had bleach and rust stains. The breakfast area looked unclean, smelled of garbage on our first morning, and the food presentation wasn’t appealing. For some reason I never felt welcome. I wouldn’t stay again unless I knew these issues had improved.

My wife and I spent a week honeymooning at Sugar Apple, and it was great. The place has a beautiful location and a very, very cozy feel, with excellent service. Natalie and Annie were wonderful, and the tortoise enclosure was dope. For the price, this boutique-ish hotel can’t be beaten. I’m not sure what kind of experience the people who left negative reviews had, because everything was as it should be. Shouts out again to Natalie and Annie. 🫶🏽 We’d love to stay again when we return.
