Sugar Beach Condominiums Resort

The beach was right outside our condo, and the grounds were kept up really well. They rake seaweed off the beach every day, and there were plenty of chairs both there and around the lovely pool. Our place had two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Grocery stores and downtown Christansted were nearby too.

From our deck we had a wide, 180-degree view of the Caribbean, and the condo was convenient to downtown and grocery stores. The beach is protected by an offshore wall, so the water was clear and clean, with only small waves. A few fish could be spotted snorkeling. There was a cool breeze and trees for shade, and a crew cleaned the beach each day. It was hard to think of a better weekend spot in paradise.

The beach is rocky, so getting into the water isn't as pleasant as at some other beaches. Still, it's a lovely place to stroll, look for shells, or just unwind to the sound of the ocean.

The island location is great, and the area is quiet. The pool and tennis facilities were very nice, and the grounds and parking lot were clean. I was glad to have a kitchen and washer-dryer in the unit. The room itself felt a bit dated and needed some repairs. In June 2025, though, Sargassum covered the whole waterfront beach.
