SAM LAM HOUSE - Bao Loc

Louis really made our stay. He speaks great English and helped with everything we needed, even arranging a bus for us. The apartment-style building is independent, and we checked ourselves in with the door left open for us. It’s quiet, with a short grab ride to everything. Bao Loc felt very different from Vietnam’s major cities. We saw just one tourist the whole time, which made the experience great, though the language barrier could be challenging. Most menu items and other things are in Vietnamese, so have a translator ready. The beds were very hard, but Louis gave us an extra quilt to help. Thanks again for everything!

The owner is a nice young couple, friendly and easy to deal with. They put us on the ground floor near the kitchen because we had a small baby, which worked out great. It’s convenient for getting to most places, and quiet at night, so our baby could sleep around 7.30pm. The room was spacious and clean.

We had a nice balcony where we could sit and relax, and the place looked good and was clean. Louis was great to contact with questions, for any needs, or for recommendations. The beds felt a little too hard for us, so he put an extra blanket underneath. Super nice! We could also use the kitchen.

The landlords speak perfect English and are genuinely kind, ready to help with whatever you need. They rent out rooms in their large house, and guests can use the kitchen. I needed to work, so they let me use the big kitchen table, and the internet was incredibly stable and fast. The room was spotless, and the hot shower was the best I’ve had in Asia. It’s close to the city center but on a side street without noise, and the price is very good for what you get. Probably the best accommodation I’ve stayed at in all of Asia. This is the place to stay in Bao Loc!
