The owner was lovely and always around to help us with anything we needed. We spent five nights here, and the room was nice and clean, with a lovely balcony looking out over the city. It's an easy walk along the river to the old town. There's also an excellent local Vietnamese cafe called nhans where we ate nearly every day. One of our favorite places we've been, highly recommend!

The room was just okay, and I don't recommend this place. I asked before booking whether the homestay was quiet and was told it was. It was extremely noisy. Noise is common in Vietnam, but being lied to wasn't nice.

The location is amazing, close to everything and with beautiful views. Our room was spotless and cleaned every two days. Breakfast was delicious, and when we asked to buy a few bottles of water, they kindly gave them to us for free. We also borrowed bikes at no cost and used their comfortable transfer service. We booked three nights at Azalea Homestay but ended up staying five. The owner was incredibly accommodating and helped us with everything. I highly recommend it!

We loved having a balcony where we could sit outside and take in the sights and sounds of Vietnam. We had morning coffee there every day and watched nice sunsets each evening. The hosts were very friendly and supportive, and being able to use English made our stay much nicer. During Tet they invited us to join their big feast, which was a wonderful experience. We stayed two weeks and would have been comfortable staying longer. The hotel and rooms were very clean, and there was plenty of hot water in the bathroom. The location is convenient for walking. The old town takes about 15-20 minutes on foot, and plenty of restaurants and street food are within a five-minute walk. Highly recommended for budget travelers looking for somewhere clean, safe, and hospitable.

The host was lovely and really helpful with answering our questions. My mum and I had a great three-night stay. It's a very convenient location for getting to both the old town and the beach, and there were bikes to borrow.
