The bed was comfortable, the owner was nice, and the shower had good pressure and hot water. Still, I found the hotel just okay. Cigarette smoke kept drifting into our room from outside, and the bathroom had a funky, vomit-like smell. There wasn't an electric kettle either. Laundry cost 150000, even though the owner had quoted 30000/kg for the grocery bag of clothes we handed over. That seems steep, since I don't think such a small bag could have weighed 11 pounds. There are cheaper hotels nearby with similar or better amenities.

The landlord was friendly, though not especially helpful. The room was clean and tidy, and the ancient street was about a 5-minute bike ride away. You can rent a bike for 25k/day or a motorcycle for 100k/day, both at reasonable prices.
