Nha Lan Homestay

I planned a shorter stay but wound up extending it. My balcony room was really cool, and the staff were nice and helpful. The location is a big plus, just a two-minute walk from the Old Town area. They sell tours and bus or van tickets, too. Good value for the money, and I'd recommend it.

It's easy to miss the homestay at first because there's a money exchange right in front. Once there, the location is ideal in the old center, and the rooms are clean with pleasant balconies. The people were so kind and took time to talk us through tours and sights in the cute city of Hoi An. Breakfast was a tasty local specialty, with a vegetarian version available, plus fresh fruit. The owner's mother, who cooks, came to check on us and was very sweet. Definitely recommend!

The family atmosphere was lovely, and our room was large and very good. Breakfast, made the next day by the receptionist's mom and husband, was amazing. They also did our laundry, and it all came back looking and smelling very clean. The location is close to the old town and an ATM, which you'll need since payment here is cash. The receptionist was very friendly and jumped right in to help us plan a complicated day trip, making lots of calls for us. Her service was amazing.

Walking to the river is easy, and the old Town is just around the corner, so the location is perfect and close to everything. You can also book tours, motorbikes, and bicycles here. I first stayed in 2017 and had such a good experience because the whole family took great care of me. I was glad to find the homestay still running after covid, and came back with my husband for one night. We had a bedroom with a great big bed, clean sheets and towels, a bathroom, fan, AC, and a balcony overlooking the inner courtyard. It was a lovely place to sit in the evening. It's still my favorite homestay!
