We had no problems during our family stay and would gladly come back to Da Nang. Joyce was especially helpful and made sure we had what we needed. Our three-bedroom apartment had plenty of space for everyone, plus a little kitchen, refrigerator, and balcony where we could look out at the street and beach. They cleaned each day, so we returned to a tidy room and bathrooms stocked with supplies. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby, and a mart just a few steps away for snacks or drinks. The staff were friendly throughout.

The rooftop pool was clean, and we enjoyed having a sauna. The gym equipment is dated but still usable. Breakfast was decent, the Wi-Fi worked well, and service was great. We’re a family of three, and the location suited us perfectly, close to the beach and lots of restaurants and cafes. They upgraded us to a three-bedroom room when we arrived. The only thing we missed was somewhere to sit besides the beds.

The room was tidy and had the things we needed, and the staff were helpful and friendly. It’s only a few minutes on foot to the beach, with a lovely open view of the sea. Good value for a Da Nang stay.

We left early because we genuinely didn’t feel safe staying there. My elderly travel companions and I were frightened after the reception woman came to our door twice that night, around 11pm and midnight, shouting, banging, and filming us without our consent while we were in nightwear. She brought a bodyguard, told us to leave if we wouldn’t pay, and threatened to make us homeless. I worried she would return while we slept. My brother and sister-in-law were meant to arrive the next day, and I was scared for them too. We had complained through Agoda because the room’s condition, cleanliness, and facilities didn’t match the listing. The room smelled awful and was dirty. The supposed fully stocked kitchen looked worse than a hostel dorm, with dusty cutlery shoved under a grimy pipe, and the slippers looked used. The whole room was very different from what Agoda showed. Instead of addressing the problem, staff kept harassing us when we contacted Agoda. The next morning, as we went to find somewhere else, the woman shouted at us in the lobby. When we checked out early, staff got our Grab driver to throw our bags out of the car, filmed us again, and threatened to call police and dox our information around Da Nang unless we signed a document called “construction contract.” We thought it was fake and illegitimate. It’s disturbing to pressure guests into signing papers like that. This “4 star” place is a serious safety concern, and I wouldn’t consider staying there. Agoda also failed to help with any urgency. They said compensation depended on what the property would accept, but the property wouldn’t answer their calls. When we spoke with Agoda, staff would come complain to us instead. In response to the owner: we were not offered a newer room the next day. Staff banged on our door soon after we arrived and told us to leave if dissatisfied, at 11pm. Your response that we were offered a room is fictitious. You also let your staff continue harassing us without intervening. I admit we requested a full refund after being harassed during our one night and cutting the booking short for safety. Why didn’t you approve a full refund for my brother, who never checked in? Stop trying to silence criticism and take responsibility.
