I wouldn’t return to Sunshine Beach Da Nang. The room was acceptable, reasonably clean, and the stove worked, but the washing machine and microwave didn’t work at all, which was frustrating during a longer stay. I also saw a lizard in my bathroom every night. That may be common in the area, but travelers should know about it. One female staff member was kind, sweet, and accommodating, and agreed to let me check out at 1 pm instead of 12. But a male staff member knocked on my door very aggressively during checkout and was extremely rude. It made me uncomfortable and upset, and completely ruined my stay. Because of his unprofessional behavior, I would never stay here again or recommend the hotel.

The room was clean and had everything you need, and the location is good. It’s a good place if you’re on a low budget. I didn’t like the slight smell of smoke or mold in the room, or the traffic noise. I showed a staff member a bag of clothes to be washed and asked the price. He said 35k VND, but they charged me 80k VND in the end because it was per kilo. Next door, it costs only half as much.

The location is good, but the hotel seems poorly maintained. There were construction works going on and they were noisy. The room had no towels, no hot running water, and the blanket smelled like an old hockey bag. The TV had no remote.

The location was great, with plenty of shops nearby and the ocean close by. But this was unfortunately one of the worst hotels I experienced during my travels in Vietnam. The staff washers were unmotivated and communicative. The rooms were super basic, with no room service included.

Cockroaches turned up in both the room and the shower. The place was very dirty, and it seemed like nobody cleaned the rooms. When I brought it up, they just smiled and left it at that.
