The room itself was spotless, and this could be a nice place to recharge away from busy Da Nang city and Hoi An. There are quiet beaches nearby, the Godmother and martyrs monuments to see, and plenty of local chicken rice restaurants. I could get online using the lobby internet, though the guest internet in my room didn't work. The TV only showed the internal channel, but I could connect by Bluetooth to play music. What let the hotel down was the cleanliness of the shared areas. Dust in the lobby, marks in the elevator, and plastic in my hallway were still there throughout my two-day stay. There were only about 10 rooms occupied, based on the names crossed off a printout at checkout, which also raises a privacy concern. Tru Da Nang does a much better job of keeping things clean. Some hospitality cleaning suppliers offer training on which products to use in different areas, and that might help here. With low occupancy there was no buffet, just a few à la carte choices, and even those should all be available. The system where you collect your own cutlery but food is brought to your table was confusing for me and others. A little more effort could make the hotel feel warmer and more local.
