Good place.

The rooms are clean and lovely. You can choose a private room or a shared room with six beds, each with its own locker. The staff are very enthusiastic and give useful tips on places to eat and have fun. They can help with things like motorbike rental, and sell light snacks on site, including bubble tea, homemade flan, and instant noodles.

This is a reasonably priced option for lower-middle-income travelers, and the staff are friendly and provide good service. The area is quite large but doesn’t seem fully used. Renovations haven’t solved the stuffiness: the rooms still feel cramped, musty, and damp, with little ventilation or airflow. The contemporary design has no windows. On Nguyen Thai Hoc street, the place has many tucked-away corners facing away from the sun, so it stays cool in the morning and afternoon. There are many rooms, but pets aren’t allowed. This used to be the Alen Cafe, and the adjacent Alen Cafe is a popular photo spot with young people in Da Nang. Anyone thinking of renting should look into it more first.
