We had dinner here and really enjoyed it. The host was such a kind woman, and the location is lovely. We only stayed one night in the dorm, so keep in mind it can be cold and noisy in a mountain dorm. That felt normal to us, and we had a great stay. We’d recommend it.

The hostess was so friendly, and we felt genuinely welcome throughout our pleasant stay. The food was really tasty too. One practical thing to know: because it’s close to the border, you need a Ha Giang border permit to stay overnight legally.

We stopped here for the first night of our motorcycle tour, and it had exactly what I needed: a clean room, hot water, and a comfortable bed. Dinner was hotpot. Maybe I was cold or just really hungry, but after two weeks in Vietnam it was one of the best meals I’ve had on this trip.
