We got in around the middle of the night after taking the night bus, and the staff were really nice about it. The room was clean, and the Bus Station for the ferry to Cat Ba was about a 10-minute trip away. We’d booked two nights but had to leave after one when our plans changed. Even though we checked out late, they charged us for just the one night and helped us with other things too.

The people running the place were friendly, and the AC and fan both worked great. Even the bidet had warm water. The rooms were really nice and the cleanest I’ve found at this price. It’s about a 12-minute drive from central Haiphong, and I couldn’t find anything else nearby at a similar price with decent reviews. I was glad I booked, so I added two more days.

There’s a good local bus connection within an easy walk. The rooms were clean, and the staff were friendly and available to talk to if you needed anything.

The price was reasonable, and being close to the Thuong Ly Bus terminal worked well for my onward trip to Hanoi. It’s a small, old guesthouse with dated interiors, though everything was clean and working. As a foreigner, I found the mattress stone hard. There was no drinking water in the room, and the two towels, each just 30 by 50 cm, seemed tiny.
