Vinpearl Hotel Imperia Hai Phong

Thank you, Mr. Long, you saved our trip! When our bus to Ninh Binh was canceled the day before we were due to travel, we were panicking. Reception and guest services could only suggest expensive options at around $70. Mr. Long, the bell attendant at Sheraton Haiphong, stepped in and found a much better solution. Drawing on his own travel experience, he contacted a reliable limousine bus company he'd used before and arranged a ride for just $19, saving us over $50. It was last minute and many services were already fully booked, but he contacted lots of companies to find the best affordable option. He made sure we wouldn't be overcharged and clearly explained the route: take the limousine bus to a certain point, then get a taxi to our hotel in Ninh Binh. Without his help, we honestly wouldn't have made it to our next destination. He turned a stressful situation into a smooth one. Mr. Long is professional, proactive, and clearly cares about guests. He's a tremendous asset to the hotel and deserves recognition from management. Thanks to his service, we'll recommend Sheraton Haiphong to friends and family, and come back on our next visit to Haiphong. Highly recommended, especially if you need help with travel. Ask for Mr. Long!

The Club Lounge on the 43rd floor was spacious, and the evening spread of food, beer, and wine was generous enough to count as dinner if you wanted. Annie and Naomi were especially warm and attentive. We were upgraded as Titanium Bonvoy members to a lovely room on the 42nd floor with panoramic views. Breakfast had a wide choice of Asian and Western dishes, and I especially liked the Vietnamese coconut coffee. The rooms have plenty of space, lovely finishes, plush bedding, and thoughtful amenities. From the moment we walked into the modern, elegant lobby, the staff were attentive and seemed ready to anticipate what we needed.

The spa visit ended with Ms Van welcoming us with hot tea after the sauna, a thoughtful touch. We also loved the Club Lounge, easily one of the best of the 20 we’ve visited, with its Korean and Vietnamese influences. Ms Naomi, Ms Jenny, Ms Windy, Ms Serein, Ms Annie, Mr Sam, and the rest of the team remembered our drinks and preferences and brought us spicy Korean noodles. Ms Serein even kindly showed us how to get to Cát Bà. They made us feel special. At breakfast, Ms Jenny Jeong, Ms Sandi, Ms Anh, Mr Truong, the three lovely ladies in Ao Dai, Ms Linh, Ms Ly, and Ms Giang all looked after us. Ms Anh made amazing iced chocolate and iced soy lattes, and Ms Giang prepared delicious phở. Mr Truong was a friendly breakfast waiter who chatted with us each morning. Ms Jenny and Ms Anh, the breakfast managers, always greeted us with a smile and remembered our drink orders. Dinner was just as good. The manager who served us on our first steak buffet night, Ms Ly at Harbour, Ms Hoai, and Chef Tung, whose steaks were incredible, all helped make the meals memorable. Huge thanks to Mr Huy, the management team, and every staff member who worked hard to make our stay so memorable.

Miss Anh Ngoc made our two weeks here much more memorable. She always greeted my colleagues and me with a warm smile, and when one colleague wanted a manicure, she kindly pointed us toward some great nail salons. We really appreciated how welcoming and thoughtful she was. 😃
