The place sits down a tiny alley, but it’s very quiet and there are lots of eateries and useful shops around. We arrived terribly early after spending the night on a 'sleeper' bus, and our host could see how exhausted we were. She was very kind, uses Google translate skillfully, and has been helping me get quicker with it too.

The price is really affordable, and the people here are genuinely kind. Wonderful service and an amazing room. I’ll definitely come back.

The landlady is friendly and nice, but the room needs more vacuuming and cleaning. The toilet is small. There’s a washing machine on the rooftop, where you can hang all your laundry to dry. It’s an old building, so there’s no lift, and the stairs are quite steep.

Booking alley homestay was probably my best decision. The rate is lower than in the old quarter, and they have motorbikes for rent to get around hanoi. A cute old lady welcomed us, and we also got to chat with her cute grandson. 😄😄

A brilliant stopover. The mother is awesome and will look after you with all her heart.
