Auntie Lien was a lovely, gentle Hanoi woman with a sweet voice. She’s a wonderful host who enjoys art, architecture, cooking, and talking about life. I stayed at OYO Auntie Lien’s homestay for just one night, but felt peaceful, comfortable, and at home. I’d really recommend staying there to learn about Vietnamese culture ❤️

I was in town for a seminar at the University of Foreign Languages, and a friend recommended Auntie Lien’s Homestay. What stayed with me most was meeting Auntie Lien. She welcomed me warmly and made me feel at home. She’s capable and experienced, with a maturity and sophistication that young people like me can learn from. Her positive energy and the way she treats people kindly in small everyday moments taught me about work, life, and getting along with others. Sometimes the people we meet are what make a trip memorable, even more than the places we see.
