Eco Nest Classic Apartment

I arrived after booking through Booking.com and getting confirmation, only to be told there was no room reserved for us. Why use the portal if you don’t know how it works? Don’t trust this hotel.

Cong Huy was attentive and professional, and let us see the room before we confirmed. On arrival, we were also offered laundry at a fair price, which was a godsend. The room was much nicer than the photos and better than I expected, with a huge bedroom window. I’m surprised by the earlier one-star reviews. I can’t fault the place and would recommend it.

The location made it easy to get around, and the room was a reasonable size, but at 500,000 VND a night for a double, it felt expensive for what we got. My brother and I stayed last week. The room was old and poorly maintained: the ceiling light hung loose, damp patches had been repaired in places but the paint was peeling, and there was a strong musty smell. No hair dryer was provided. There also wasn’t always a receptionist available. When we needed help, we had to wait a long time for staff to come from somewhere else, which was inconvenient and ate up time.

I booked a Balcony King for three days, but ended up in three different rooms, one for each day :3. The location is good, prices are affordable, and the receptionists are pretty chill and helpful. That’s all, folks!
