We liked being away from the touristy parts of Hanoi. There wasn't much nearby for visitors, but that gave us a chance to see more of everyday local life. The apartments were clean and in good shape, with comfortable beds, and it worked really well for traveling with children. Staff were friendly and helpful, though a few spoke only limited English. The hallway doors are thin, so some noise can come through.
