When I arrived, I was told my room had been given to someone else because I hadn’t contacted them on Zalo beforehand to make a deposit. That had never been made clear during the booking, and I was left stressed and scrambling to find 2-3 other places at the last minute. I’d booked through Booking.com expecting payment and confirmation to be handled through the platform, but the host gave no clear instructions and instead expected me to contact them myself on Zalo. I’d also previously tried to book another property under the same homestay, but couldn’t reach them. They didn’t connect on Zalo or answer phone calls. Communication and service were extremely poor and unreliable. I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless they make major improvements to the booking process and customer service.

The toilet in the room backs up when someone else flushes. Just imagine that happening while you’re using it. On top of that, the owner, reception, security, and cleaning staff all came across as unpleasant and unfriendly. Don’t stay here if you want to avoid an awful holiday that could ruin your trip. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Negative ⭐️

The room was okay, but the bedding setup was really unprofessional. The duvet cover and filling were separate, so we had to put them together ourselves in Hanoi’s 9°C weather. The security guard was unpleasant, grumbling and disrespectful from the minute we arrived. Even when we left our things behind, we got scolded. When we asked how to lock the door, the response was condescending, and nobody explained the rules clearly. They just chained our bikes arbitrarily. YOU’LL LOSE YOUR BELONGINGS IF YOU LEAVE THEM BEHIND 🤬 Poor management and terrible reception. Not recommended.

Avoid this guesthouse. The landlord is so rude and keeps nagging. Renting here feels like begging, with one procedure after another. Guests are even expected to clean up and carry their rubbish downstairs, and electric scooters aren’t allowed.
