The location was the best part, right in a central, convenient area near attractions, restaurants, and public transport. It made it easy to explore and get around. But I wasn't told when booking that my room was on the sixth floor and the building had no elevator. Arriving with luggage was inconvenient, and the stairs could be a real problem for anyone with mobility concerns or who hadn't expected to climb several flights. That detail should be clearly mentioned in advance so guests can decide with full information. Better communication about the stairs would improve the experience a lot.

After about eight visits, this hostel feels like our home in Hanoi. We always book a twin room, which is spacious, with huge, comfortable beds. It's near Hoan Kiem lake, but tucked down a side street, so nights are quieter. Breakfast at her nice café is generous. Mrs. Hien is lovely, speaks perfect English, and takes great care of you, along with James. They can arrange transport and trips, and they're super organised, but they're happy to let you make your own plans too. They make travelling in Vietnam feel easy, and we highly recommend staying here.

James was so good to us, friendly, polite, and helpful without being pushy when he offered extras. He even carried our bags up and down three flights of stairs. The location was great, and our room was clean and spacious.

A nice hostel in the old quarter, with a good room. We booked a Ha Giang trip, Halong bay, and our bus to Phong Nha through them. Highly recommend.

A clean, comfortable and spacious room, with a big bathroom that was clean and smelled nice. We also had breakfast included. The building seems to go up six floors, with two rooms on each. It was affordable, and the people and staff were good.
