HB Serviced Apartment - Lac Long Quan

My stay at HB Serviced Apartment - Lạc Long Quân came after a frustrating booking mix-up. I had paid in full for Urban Westlake through Mytour, only to discover, after calling the hotel and MyTour customer service myself, that it was fully booked. Mytour hadn't told me. They moved me to HB Serviced Apartment - Lạc Long Quân and initially wanted extra payment, although the error wasn't mine. After some back and forth, they finally agreed I could stay without paying more. At the property, the front desk staff were welcoming and friendly, and the place was clean, tidy, and well organized. Still, several details were disappointing. There were small red marks on the blanket that honestly looked like blood. The dishes, bowls, and glasses were dusty, so I had to wash them before using them. Bathroom supplies were missing too: no comb, empty shampoo, no cotton swabs or hand soap, and a razor without shaving cream. Getting in after 10 PM meant going through the basement parking area, which was a hassle. The location was also farther from my work destination than Urban Westlake would have been. It wasn't a bad place, but the cleanliness details and amenities need improvement. The staff were great, though, and I'd suggest checking the room carefully on arrival. 🚪🔍

The room was good, but check the bedding closely and make sure the pillow covers are changed. Mine had dirty marks, and I don't think they had been changed. The balcony door had no curtain, and its film was translucent, so too much light came in at night while I was trying to sleep.

The room was lovely and had all the facilities I needed. I’d book here again for a work trip or a visit to Hanoi.

I won’t be returning. The service was awful, and the way they spoke to and treated customers was just as bad.
