The hostess was wonderful and even helped us sort out our Visas in under 24 hours. We hadn’t realized Vietnam wasn’t VOA like many of the surrounding countries, so that help mattered a lot. We stayed just shy of a month and would come back when we return to Hanoi, which we definitely plan to do. The people, culture, landscape, and architecture were all amazing. It’s a lovely, comfortable place in a good spot, close enough to walk everywhere but just removed from the noise. We went to the weekend market by the Lake each weekend and walked to Old Quarter every day, about 10-15 minutes. Groceries, restaurants, and coffee shops are close by too. There’s a little kitchen for simple meals, and the sleeping spaces are cozy, with a TV and projector for rainy days or nights when you just want to stay in.

The hosts were really helpful with our questions about the area and places to see. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed for the visit. I’d probably stay here again next time I’m in Hanoi.

After doing the Ha Giang loops, the comfortable smell in this neat, clean house helped me sleep well. I think the host had just redecorated it. They also arranged airport pickup for me, which I appreciated. It was a good stay, and I’ll definitely come back. Highly recommend.

It has that same tucked-away, poetic feel, and the owners are still really enthusiastic about helping out. This location is much more spacious than another hidden nest place I booked before. It’s very central, easy to enter, and there are no stairs to climb. The owners seem to know lots of good places to eat and things to do, so if you’re travelling alone you don’t need to worry about figuring out where to go. I’d definitely recommend booking here.
