La Belle Maison

The rooms are lovely, clean, and well equipped, and the staff are attentive and friendly. La Belle Maison is right by Hoan Kiem Lake and close to lots of well-known sights. The central area does get noisy, especially in the daytime, so you need to be okay with the city bustle and some surrounding noise.

Thor was the part of the stay that really stood out. He was warm and attentive, arranged a ride for our onward trip, pointed us to a great restaurant, and even helped get us a reservation. La Belle Maison also has a fun, unusual entrance through the Circle K, and the central location made it easy to explore. Our room was clean, comfortable, and beautiful. City sounds came through a bit, but they weren't overwhelming, and the hotel leaves earplugs if you need them. The AC worked perfectly in Hanoi's heat, and the rooftop patio had a nice lake view and breeze. We had a fantastic visit. With its charm, location, comfortable rooms, and thoughtful service, we'd happily recommend booking here. Thanks for a great stay!

Thor and Andrew were the highlight. They kept in touch on WhatsApp before and during the visit, shared plenty of Hanoi tips, and made us feel at home and well looked after. The hotel was comfortable, with an amazing lake view and a really spacious room with a bath and everything we needed. Breakfast was generous and excellent, with fresh fruit, delicious pho, and good drinks. I'd recommend staying here.

The rooftop patio looks out over the lake, and Thor can make you a drink up there if you like. Our room was clean, in good repair, and nice, and the service was friendly and accommodating. Thor was professional and always available. There are a lot of stairs because there's no elevator, but the staff will carry your suitcases. The entrance is inside the Circle K, which is handy since you can get things downstairs around the clock.
