La Siesta Classic Ma May

We first came to La Siesta Classic Ma May in February 2025, and the recent visit, from 8-9 May and 12-15 May, reminded us why we liked it so much. The team recognized us by the second day and kept up the warm hospitality throughout. Service was excellent at every level, from housekeeping and doormen to management and the breakfast restaurant staff. Breakfast was a highlight. There was lots of variety and the presentation was always classy. We especially liked the spring rolls, pho, and fantastic Eggs Benedict. Thanks to the chef and kitchen team for making such delicious breakfasts with so much care each morning. Jun deserves a special thank you. She was always available when we needed help. I lost an item while I was out, and even though it couldn't be found, she genuinely did her best to help. Her care and sincerity meant a lot. Since we were stopping here before going to Sapa, she also shared recommendations and places to visit there, which were really useful. Another comfortable and memorable stay. Thanks to everyone at La Siesta Classic Ma May. We look forward to coming back.

A small gesture from the staff made a memory we'll never forget: they took our picture and set it on our breakfast table. It honestly made our day. We had one of the best stays we've ever had. The location was perfect, the atmosphere warm and peaceful, and the rooms cozy, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. Huge thanks to the whole team for their care and hospitality. We had a great dinner at the Red Bean restaurant one night, and the food really was awesome. Happy hour at the rooftop bar was enjoyable too. Breakfast had plenty of choice, with an efficient team serving it. Anh was one of our favorites. We also had a junior suite for some extra space at the end of our trip, and spent three days here in late March 2026. The old quarter location is very central, with everything walkable. Outside noise was minimal thanks to double glazing plus another layer of glass, which worked very well. The staff were brilliant, especially An, who was an angel. She answered all our questions and arranged the hotel car and its super-safe driver for the airport on our last morning. Since we were leaving before the restaurant opened, we were pleasantly surprised to get two breakfast boxes for Hanoi airport. We thoroughly recommend La Siesta Hotel, Ma May.

We got in at 0515 after an early train and were offered facilities and drinks straight away. They said we could check in as soon as a room was ready, which happened at 10:30, just right after a walk around. The service was top notch. Breakfast was amazing, with something for everyone, including a full sushi breakfast and a salad bar. The rooftop bar had a nice feel, even through a wild Thunder storm. On our last day they held our luggage and offered us a shower in an empty room before the airport transfer. The old quarter location was nice too. I've stayed at several five star hotels around the world, and I'd put this one among them.
