We took the cheapest room, so the futon on the floor was a bit thin and the room a little tired. Aside from that, it's great. The location couldn't be better, and if you're European, everything you'd want to see is within walking distance. About the claim that staff are rude, what staff? We only met the cleaner. She doesn't speak English, but she's very good with a translation app. Vietnamese manners aren't the same as English ones, so know the country you're visiting before complaining. The coffee shop downstairs is amazing, the staff couldn't be nicer, and the coffee tastes like dark chocolate.

We had a reservation for 3 p.m. and got a booking confirmation, but no entry code. When we arrived at 7:30 p.m. there still wasn't a code. We spent over an hour calling and waiting on the street before getting a curt WhatsApp reply. They didn't call us back or apologize. The staff were arrogant. Update: Even after we'd paid and finally got into the room at 8:30 p.m., the owner verbally attacked us and told us to leave. That made an already miserable stay even worse.

The customer service here was the rudest I've ever come across at a hotel. If negative scores were possible, I'd give it minus one out of a thousand. Think carefully before booking.

I wouldn't stay here again. Grab couldn't locate the place, so we had to find a nearby spot, take a picture of it, and walk over. The location was really inconvenient.
