Newstyle Hanoi Hotel & Apartment

There’s plenty of room, though the room setup isn’t very practical, and the service wasn’t good. The manager is an older man with a difficult personality. The nightly rate was okay at 3xx, with motorbikes at 120 per day and scooters at 200. Rental time isn’t flexible: whenever you pick up a motorbike, they charge you for a full day at noon.

I called in a hurry without booking, and the price was much better than hotels in Pho Co. The rooms were clean and nice, the alley was quiet, and the location was convenient. The owner was friendly, and they also rent motorbikes, with plenty of underground parking. I’d choose it again if I get the chance 🥰

The older man at reception was really unpleasant, always seeming ready to curse if you asked too many questions. The blankets were dirty and itchy to sleep under, though I suppose that comes with the low price. The room did have a reasonable rate, full equipment, hot water, and two-way air conditioning.

The bed was high and comfortable, and both the night shift gentleman and the morning shift lady were very kind. We only stayed one night, though the rooms are tiny, and there’s no coffee or water for a longer stay. Arriving at night to find no water was awful. The hotel is off a side street away from the center, but an avenue with plenty of places to eat or get coffee is nearby, as is a shopping center a few blocks away.
