The staff were kind and helpful, and the location was great, but the rooms are small. Open the windows and it gets very noisy, and you can hear everything the neighbors do through the bathroom. Cleaning wasn’t good either. I was charged 300k for “cleaning purposes” after moving out, even though I’d been the one cleaning up the hair the maids left in my room. I wouldn’t recommend it for a long stay.

I’ve stayed at NYT Home Giang Vo three times now, and it’s been a really pleasant place to return to. The staff are kind, attentive, and available around the clock. They help with local suggestions, transport, concerns, early check-in or late check-out, and luggage storage for a late flight. Security also made me feel comfortable leaving my things in the room. The location in Ba Dinh District gives you a local feel, while still being near attractions you can walk to. There are breakfast and lunch food stalls, restaurants, cafes, and a supermarket nearby with discounted ready meals after 8pm. MRT Cat Linh station is also within walking distance. The area is part of Hanoi’s business district, with views of the central business area and traditional local surroundings. The balcony rooms are especially spacious and have pleasant neighborhood views. Rooms include a kitchenette with a microwave, fridge, electric kettle, and kitchenware, which is useful if you want to cook rather than eat local food. There’s also a laundry area on the 8th floor, so guests can wash their clothes themselves and save money. The rooms have a full set of facilities, including a kitchen, hot water, AC, TV with Netflix and YouTube, and good internet. NYT Home Giang Vo combines comfort, convenience, and attentive service. It’s good value for money and a great choice if you want a homely stay with a taste of everyday life in Hanoi.

I had a great stay and was sorry to leave. The rooms are beautiful, the view is fantastic, and the staff are really friendly and helpful. It’s close to the city center, with plenty of nearby restaurants, from Vietnamese, Chinese, and Thai to Mexican, plus Dominos, Burger King, and Popeye's if you fancy familiar food. There’s a good corner shop close by and a small supermarket a short walk away. Vincom Metropolis is nearby too, with shopping, arcade games, a cinema, starbucks, and a larger supermarket.

We really enjoyed our stay. The prices are reasonable, the staff are friendly, and having free laundry was a big plus. There are lots of good cafes and restaurants nearby, and it’s easy to get to the old town by bus. The room could have been cleaned better, both when we arrived and during the stay.
