Spoon Hotel

The staff were kind and accommodating, and we were comfortable during our stay. Our room wasn't large, but it worked for us since we mainly came back to sleep after touring. It was affordable, with a spacious bathroom and a heater. If light or sound bothers you, it may not be the best fit. The location was convenient for walking to many Old Quarter sights, including Train Street. We managed the room size and found it a good place to stay.

The staff were welcoming, spoke good English, and really helped us out when we arrived without a reservation and had no way to get to our next stop. At 11pm they found us a sleeper for the night and ordered a taxi in the rain. The central location also meant the attractions and restaurants they recommended were within walking distance. We stayed three nights in a spacious, clean room. There was some water damage on the walls, but it didn't bother us. Fresh water bottles were left each morning, and daily cleaning was available if requested. If we come to Hanam again, we'd stay here and recommend it.

The service was excellent throughout my parents' and aunt's stay, from when we first dropped off our luggage before check-in until checkout. The receptionist was especially helpful with a special request. I'd wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a well-located place with thoughtful, helpful service. Thanks so much.

I was only here for one night after coming back to Hanoi for my flight, and I wish I'd chosen it for my longer stay at the start of the trip. The room was comfortable, the internet was good, and there was hot water. Staff were friendly, and I liked having so many good restaurants nearby. You can hear trains because the hotel is close to the tracks, but there aren't many and they don't run overnight. Even the early morning trains didn't wake me.
