The Cosy Inn Hanoi Hotel

The room had what I needed for a short visit, and I slept well despite some nighttime noise. Depending on which way your room faces, you might hear the bars bring out the karaoke machines. Everyone here seems to love a soulful ballad. It’s a good base near the beer district in the Old Quarter, and the staff were friendly and accommodating, especially Tracy. I’d recommend it.

We left our large bags here for a few days while we went to Ninh Binh and Sapa. This is one of the best value hotels we’ve stayed at, and we’ll come back when we’re in Hanoi again. The room was spacious, new, and relaxing, and I liked the bathroom layout, with the sink outside the shower and toilet area. Breakfast was very good, and the people were welcoming. Thanks to the late night and early morning front desk guy, who’s hard to wake up haha, but really nice, and to Tracy and Lucy for being so helpful. The hotel is in the middle of the old quarter, close to beer street. Vietnam is amazing for food, relaxation, activities, and scenery!

Tracy went above and beyond when she helped me rearrange my stay at the last minute without extra charges. With The Cosy Inn fully booked for one night, she found me another hotel, moved my luggage herself, and kept in touch to make sure the change went smoothly. After visiting 50+ countries and staying in 300+ places, I’ve never met an employee so committed, or a better human being. I wish her success in her career. The hotel is also excellent value, tucked in an alley away from main street traffic but right beside Beer Street. Hoan Kiem lake is under 200 metres away, and everything is close at hand. The rooms are clean, spacious, and well equipped, the beds are comfy, and breakfast includes plenty of fresh fruit. Tracy, Lucy, and the restaurant staff were always smiling and ready to help.

I stopped for one night at Cozy Inn Hanoi before heading to Sapa, and it worked out perfectly. The hotel is nice and very conveniently located for getting around. The price was fantastic and included a nice breakfast. Tracy deserves a special mention for making everything easy during my short stay. I’ll definitely come back next time I’m in Hanoi.
