Aloha Hotel

Our room was gone by the time we got there. Check-in ended at 10 p.m., but our plane was late, and we arrived after midnight. We tried several times to contact the hotel about the delay. Staff told us the reservation had been cancelled, leaving us without a room, and they wouldn't make an exception. The room had been rebooked as soon as it was cancelled, so we had to pay for a new, more expensive one. The air conditioning in that room made a lot of noise, the beds were uncomfortable, and the bathroom hygiene was REALLY poor. What a hotel! Run away, even for one night.

We were due by 10 p.m., but our flight delay meant we arrived at 00:30. Between 8 and 10 p.m., we emailed and tried several times to call and let them know. At the hotel, a guy said our booking had been cancelled 30 minutes earlier, and that someone arrived after midnight and took our room. He said they were now full except for one room, which was obviously twice the price of the one we'd booked. The room had no hot water. The AC sounded like a car engine, and there were several spiders in the bathroom. I was bitten during the night. Definitely a very bad experience.

The rooms were disgusting and smelled terrible. The toilet barely worked, and they overcharged for such a poor-quality room. They wouldn't even give me a refund, although I was in the room for less than 15 minutes. I'm never coming back.

It's affordable and quiet. Foreigners who know about this place sometimes stay here too.
