You don't have to go far for much here. Aodai Inn is just around the corner from walking street, and the Hop on hop off bus stops at the bottom end of our street. There are cafes and restaurants everywhere, plus massage places, money exchange, a pharmacy, bike rental, and tour operators. No breakfast is included, but the street has plenty of places to eat. Staff were always smiling, and the place was very clean. Great for the price. I gave it 4 stars only because the elevator broke down a couple of times. They let guests use the staff elevator too.

The room was dirty, the bed extremely uncomfortable, and the staff impolite. They tried to scam guests for extra money or give them a different room from the one booked. The pool was freezing, the sauna and jacuzzi didn't work, and the lift was broken.

I wouldn’t stay here again. There’s no hotel manager to take a complaint to, so getting a refund seems unlikely. They gave me a poor room even though I paid for an upgrade, and the final charge was more than I expected. I’d book somewhere pricier or be very careful about the cost.

The location made it easy to get around Ho Chi Minh, and the room was spacious and very clean. The staff were always friendly and willing to help. Rexy, Kim and Ying deserve a special thanks for their hospitality and tips on nearby places. I’d happily stay here again.

There’s a great rooftop pool with tables and a view, and you might spot bats outside the window if you look carefully. The upper floors are quiet. It’s a cheap hotel in the middle of a very busy city, with a good street nearby for food and tours.
