Calista Sai Gon Hotel

Calista Saigon Hotel worked well for our family. The family room was cozy, and clean linens and fresh towels made it comfortable. Breakfast had a surprisingly good range of choices to start the day. It’s easy to explore on foot from this central location, with many major sights within walking distance and lots of restaurants nearby. A comfortable, convenient stay and good value for families.

I needed a central, mid-range hotel for an extra day on my own. My room was comfortable and very nice, with a huge California king bed facing the street. Breakfast on the top floor was nice, and the staff were wonderful. I took off one star because the walls are thin. You can almost hear loud children crying two rooms away. Otherwise, it was a great hotel, and I'll return if I'm back.

I've stayed at this hotel many times when returning to Vietnam, but this visit left me feeling unfairly treated and very disappointed. I felt that I may not have been treated equally because I'm half Vietnamese and half Australian. Whatever someone's background, guests deserve respectful, professional service. The daytime receptionist, a female staff member, was especially disappointing. After this experience, I won't return or recommend the hotel to others.

The warm welcome at Calista Hotel set the tone for a lovely stay. The front desk team were friendly and professional, and everyone made me feel at home. They paid attention to the little things, responded quickly whenever I needed something, and always greeted guests with a real smile. I’d happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Saigon.
