I stayed one night with a friend, from 22/03 to 23/03. The room was fine for me, but the toilet didn’t feel clean. In the morning I accidentally burned a small spot on the bedsheet while using the iron, so I messaged the property manager to offer compensation. She first tried to charge me for the entire bedding set, even though the damage was small. I worked it out with the owner’s parents, who also clean after guests check out, and we agreed on a reasonable amount. I told the manager it was settled, but I didn’t like how she spoke to me. It was my first stay, I felt insulted, and I didn’t have an issue with paying for the damage. I just didn’t like the way she communicated with a guest as the manager. I paid the full amount for the damage I caused and still got no apology from her. I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it. I also didn’t see any hospitality from the manager when I first checked in. The owner’s parents, though, tried to turn things around and make me feel welcome and happy while the issue was being sorted out.

It’s a very affordable place to stay while you’re out exploring the city. There’s AC to keep you cool, plus a shared bathroom and washer and dryer.

They listed rooms on Booking at one price, but when I arrived they said the system was wrong and the room had sold out. Then they said I needed to pay 50% more.

I stayed in a dorm room. The house and the other rooms I saw were clean and neat, and the area was peaceful. The beds were good, and Trang was very friendly and speaks English. You can rent a motorbike there, Trang can help book a taxi, and there’s a kitchen for cooking.
