We came to Saigon from California and needed another place after the hotel we’d booked turned out to be a scam. Gold Hotel was a great value. We got their biggest room, which was spacious and had large windows overlooking the city. We’d found that many hotel rooms in HCMC don’t even have a window. It’s a modest hotel, kept very clean, and the staff take pride in their work and treat you kindly. The manager on duty was wonderful, and we felt very safe there. The location can’t be beat.

If you mainly need somewhere to sleep between days out exploring, this is worth considering. The location is great and the service is good, though the rooms are old. You get what you pay for, and 7e and FamilyMart are very close for late-night snacks.

The hotel feels a little dated, but I enjoyed my stay. The room was very clean and had all the amenities, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Tourist attractions are nearby and within walking distance.

A good choice for Malaysians planning a short trip to town. Malaysian street and other local sights are just a few minutes away. The receptionist was kind, and the doorman was very helpful with our luggage in the lobby. We had a good experience 😃
