Hato Saigon Boutique Hotel & Rooftop

I arrived late, around 22:30 PM on 06th-March-2026, and two staff members, one woman and one man, welcomed me warmly and explained the hotel policies and facilities well. The staff were really lovely and helpful throughout. I enjoyed my stay at Hato Saigon and would like to stay there again on a future HCMC trip.

The spacious restroom stood out compared with other hotels, while the dual bed rooms felt somewhat compact. Solo bed rooms are pretty spacious. Finding the entrance can take a moment since it’s mid-block and street stalls may partly hide it. Once there, the location is very convenient, with lots of food stalls below and coffee shops and nightlife within walking distance. Staff were attentive and helpful, and we got a welcome drink at check-in. There was a reservation mix-up and we were given the wrong room type, but the staff sorted it quickly. My booked room wasn’t ready right away, so I stayed temporarily in another one. The convenient location, good service, and roomy bathroom helped make the stay comfortable despite the smaller rooms.

There are lots of eateries and shops nearby, plus a juice bar right beside the hotel. Our receptionist and usher were both sweet and friendly, and Tracy, who looked after us that day, was friendly and service oriented. Robert, the chef of the day, made us some great eggs, and we had a hearty breakfast. The spread wasn’t extensive, but it was healthy and good. We stayed in a Premium King With Window with breakfast included. The room was a reasonable small size but comfortable for two, with basic amenities provided. The only downside for us was the missing shower door, which left the floor outside the cubicle pretty wet after showering. We enjoyed our stay.

In the evening, the rooftop terrace is a lovely place to have a drink and take in the city view. You can also have breakfast up there in the morning. Breakfast has a wide range of tasty choices, so everyone can find something they like. The location is excellent, with everything within walking distance. Rooms are clean and roomy enough for a comfortable stay, with a TV and hairdryer, and the bathrooms are modern and well maintained. I highly recommend the hotel.
