The meal was a hit with our guests, especially the Japanese-Peruvian menu Chef Ivan prepared. We had a wonderful evening at Nikura restaurant on May 28th, and the whole Nikura team made us feel welcome and supported us throughout the event. Ms. Pinky did an outstanding job coordinating everything, and Mr. Duong from the LP department helped with loading in and out our setup. Great food, warm service, and a very professional team. We’ll definitely return, and I highly recommend Nikura for private dinners and events 🤗

The fresh, lovely bathtub really impressed me. The executive lounge deserves five stars on its own, with lots of different dishes and drinks available throughout the day. The pool, sauna, and gym were modern and nice, and it wasn’t crowded while I was there. I’d definitely come back to this town.

The building feels a bit dated, but the service is at the level I expect from a top luxury hotel. Now rebranded as a JW Marriott from its former InterContinental (IHG) identity, it’s been my best experience so far compared with the Sheraton, Renaissance, and Le Méridien. It’s very convenient in District 1, with plenty of restaurants and shops within a 10-minute walk. I booked five nights with Marriott Bonvoy points at about 26,560 points per night. That worked out to roughly 1 cent per point, above the usual 0.7 cent valuation. The spacious executive lounge never felt too crowded, and had a broad choice of snacks, fruit, and drinks. I was pleasantly surprised to find local things like jackfruit, coconut water, and papaya. Breakfast was another highlight, with lots to choose from, including bánh mì and phở. There were around five live cooking stations where they prepared and customized food fresh, something I haven’t seen in many other hotels. I’d stay here again on another visit. It’s a strong choice for both value and the overall experience.

Lunch at JW Café was a great experience. Mr. Kiet was friendly, attentive, and professional, and made us feel welcome while making sure everything was just right throughout the meal. I really enjoyed it and recommend JW Café for the food and warm hospitality.

The breakfast had a nice range, from Vietnamese coffee and freshly grated coconut to local and continental dishes. I did feel the menu could be broader to match some other five-star hotels, but what was there met my expectations. My room was high up with a beautiful city view, and the staff were warm and attentive from the moment I arrived by cab. I felt well looked after throughout my stay at the JW Marriott, and would happily return.
