The rooms are tiny, dirty and badly maintained, with dirt and mold, and the service was basically nonexistent. It feels dangerously neglected, like a death trap, as other reviews have said. It may be affordable by Western standards, but it’s still too expensive for what you get. Pay a bit more for proper accommodation and your health. You’ve been warned. This is one of the dirtiest places I’ve been to in Southeast Asia.

The AC and fan worked, and the price is very cheap, so it could suit someone looking for the absolute basics. But the room is no bigger than a closet, was never cleaned during my stay, and had old food in one of the cabinets that I had to throw away. I only got barely warm water twice, and the washing machine didn’t work. The location is great, but the building didn’t seem safe in an emergency. I can’t believe how it was presented compared with how it turned out.

Not a big room, but it’s clean and convenient, with an elevator, air conditioner, TV, refrigerator, stove, washing machine and hot water. It’s quiet and feels safe, and seems suitable for couples on longer trips. There are lots of foreigners staying here. I like it a lot.

The Wi-Fi was so weak I couldn’t work on my laptop. The owner isn’t always there, so contact him ahead of time if you’re checking in.
